Gearhart is a quiet, residential community often called "Cape Cod West." Our peaceful village is a great place to ride bikes, stroll, admire the shingled, quaint cottages and shop for antiques. The Pacific Way Cafe and Bakery offers wonderful food and a step back in time. Of course, if you just want to relax at 94 S. Cottage, you can play pool, foosball, badminton, board games, croquet... or just soak in the spa!
Gearhart is also home to Oregon's oldest 18 hole golf course, which was founded in 1888. Click onGearhartGolflinks for more information. From 94 S. Cottage, public tennis courts are 2 blocks away, and the wonderful beach, great for sunset watching, is a 3 block walk.
Gearhart is located just off the Coast Highway, two miles N. of Seaside, 10 miles N. of Canon Beach and 15 miles S. of Astoria. Travel Oregon will get you to other great sites.
